Dear Reader,
The dark of night is my favorite time. This is when my mind thinks it should be allowed to play. I'm not sleeping tonight because I couldn't get the story of CHOICES, both the story itself and the story behind the story, out of my mind.
This is the second book in the trilogy that began with FACES OF A CLOWNLaura and Mark's story set mostly in Seattle. This time we're in Vancouver, BC, one of my favorite places. As a Seattleite I've long taken part in the competition between fold here and those in Vancouver over which city is the most beautiful. I'm the loyal kind but Vancouver is incredible!
In CHOICES, Evan, who is Laura's dear friend in FACES OF A CLOWN, meets Sara when he's hired by a Vancouver company t streamline production. Not all employees are thrilled to have Evan around potentially eliminating their jobsor so they think. As a member of upper management, Sara not only finds Evan attractive but she also respects and likes him. But she feels very responsible for all of the longtime employees, including her brother-in-law, and is faced with a dilemma that pulls her in too many directions.
Mystery, a sexy love story, a cast of people who wiggle into our heartsthis is Choices and it's been so much fun to enter their world again.
As with FACES OF A CLOWN, I wrote CHOICES with my dear friend Virginia Myers under the pen name Jane Worth Abbott. I have workednot that it felt like workwith the story to add what felt necessary, but I like the folks and the situations as much now as I did in the beginning.
I hope you enjoy the book.
